Ah yes, this is a little late for Halloween but I do get the urge to paint something gruesome on a regular basis so voila, a mummified corpse on a fluffy cotton wool bed!

I have a SERIOUS phobia of mummies, ever since I decided I wanted to be an archeologist when I was ickle and started having nightmares. :fear:

This is infact copied (not traced, put away your pitchforks) from a photograph I found a recent copy of The National Geographic. Great magazine.

Done in watercolours on watercolour paper. With brushes. Duh. Burnt Umber, Yellow Ochre and Paynes Grey. Mmm.

Took a good long time, but I'm alright with the result, it's for my A-Level Art self-chosen project of DEATH. :evillaugh:

I absolutely love this! You're so talented when it comes to watercolors; I can't handle a brush without causing some kind of horrible disaster. :'D Great painting, and I look forward to see more from you.

Hey...we all start from copying. Still life is copying. =]
But either way, i fukcing love it! It's so colourful and it has so much texture on it. it's amazing.
