Guess the emo band name.

Emo band names, a mystery if there ever was one. Either totally random (Magenta Penguin Friday) or filled with pain and misery (My Achey Breakey Bleeding Broken Heart).

BUT, maybe there IS a logical explaination for them.

Here are three that I have mulled over in my brain of brains and come up with scenarios for. Because those crazy emos might not have created their band names using Magnetic Poetry afterall!

Taking Back Sunday
Obviously there was a typo with this one, they were very angry about that ice-cream parlour. They wanted a chocolate sundae, not bloody strawberry! AAARRRGGGHH!

Panic! At the Disco
What? What is there to panic about? Not having your request played by the DJ? Running out of salt and vinegar crisps?!

My Chemical Romance
Pffrt, I still don't know. But maybe they know more about Professor Snape's secret Bromine fetish than I do.



I looked on Wikipedia to confirm that these bands ARE considered emo. Wiki knows everything. Unfortunately, the emo band I sung with for a while, 'Black Rose Monday', is not on there. I apologize, I don't know anything about emo or emos. Not like I'd want to, I mean CHRIST! XD

However, my personal band name would be "My Gorgeous Elaborate Symphony". Cheers Magnetic Poetry. It's done in ink and watercolour, as always, and indeed it's generally crap. But I lol'd, which is the general point of this comic strip, so don't take it seriously.
