University acceptance, film invite, YEEESSS.

Ooo it doesn't get much better than this. I'm going to be studying Fine Art for the next 3 years. At Nottingham, home of Robin and his hood. XD

I'm glad I never have to do another university interview, it's 20 minutes I'd rather forget. Most of it was taken up with trying to get my bastard DVD to work, and staring blankly in horror as I tried to explain my art, feeling like a right old twat. But I can be smug now and make you vomit. Hurrah.

Now I can spend the next 3 years 'finding myself', being a Fine Artist ponce, poncing around with other Fine Artist ponces and slowly turn into Tracey fucking Emin.

I can't wait.

Amazingly, I don't just make shitty fanart. I make shitty films and shitty REAL art as well. Making films is my pash at the mo, I want to be the next Jan Svankmajer and I've finally got an invite to the DA film gallery, YES! Expect some films up soon, they're mostly weird arty stop motion stuff, but don't be put off, you can laugh at me as plasticine crawls up my nose.

OH THE CRAZY CRAZY WORLD OF FINE ART!

Amidst doing my major project, which is all about FEAR and very typical indeed, I have been going 'clubbing' quite a bit. Ugh. I hang with my artist mates and we do artist dancing. I now know all the lyrics to Flo Rida's 'Low' and sing them on a regular basis.

Home life is good! Me and Tom had a barbie the other night, I am so happy the weather is getting nicer again, and we've discovered the local pub does kareoke! So I can progress from Singstar now. I'm still not sure if I want to leave home when I go to uni, but I need to choose soon. I'd be living in Nottingham so there is a large chance I will get shot. With an arrow. LOL.

Hmm, yeah.

That's so wonderful and inspiring! ::gives you big hugs:: I am so happy for you. And I look forward to seeing your ridiculously arty films. I love film myself, though in a more commercial sense (I know, shameful, isn't it?). This was definitely a wonderful update!

Except for the music you're listening to. That's just beyond creepy.

I dunno the ins and outs of your circumstances, but I'd definately recommend moving out when you go to Uni. It really adds to the whole expierience.

I'm going to have a look at some accommodation tomorrow, so maybe I'll decide for definite then. Need to weigh up the pros and cons I suppose, but I feel I'd really be missing out if I didn't go. It wouldn't be far from home either, so I'd be back home every weekend too.

Yay! I'm really happy too, I was really worried I wasn't going to get in, they were quite mean at my interview! Hopefully I'll get some films up this week, it'll be great to show some of my serious, college stuff instead of the piss-taking cartoons I've been posting for years!

I love commercial film too, and I do love doing the odd film review. Need to go and see The Orphanage! XD

I want to see that too. Alas, I have such limited access to so many films, a terrible tragedy.
